Dad's New Camera and Photos of Baby Zach and Puppy Dilbert

Baby Dilly the puppy

Our baby boy Zach is almost 9 months old now and for my birthday, I got a new camera that is far superior to the one I had. This is a high end Canon S3 IS with 12X optical zoom and some really cool video capabilities, which are very important to us. Got it at Office Depot after they agreed to match Best Buy's sales price. I like Office Depot, but not such a big fan of Best Buy.

This gallery is first use of the camera with only auto settings, but already blown away by it's capability. My previous digital camera lasted for years and was a Kodak. I really liked it and it endured a lot of abuse, but this camera blows it away. It is very fast, creates beautiful photos and has some really cool features like image stabilization.

In this gallery are photos of our dogs and our new puppy Dilbert as well as photos of baby boy Zach and Mom. Zach has a cold and is teething big time, so he is incredibly fussy right now.

Lost Dogs - This Just Breaks My Heart

Lost Dogs - This Just Breaks My Heart

Everytime I see these types of posters, it just breaks my heart. You begin to think about losing one of your babies and sitting at home waiting for word after days of walking, driving, and calling their name. Every animal laying on the side of the road is potentially your baby and it's terrfying. You jump back and forth between hope and dismay and the odds are your baby will never come home. Sigh... It's time to update those tags and collars. Of course our dogs are so cute they probably wont' be returned right away, but after a day or two of Dilbert they will be begging us to take him back... ;)
